Found this on swissmiss the other day. Even in the world of text messages, emails and photocopiers, the art of letterpress still lives on today.

I’m headed down to San Diego this weekend to hang out with my fake-biggest little-sister, Lauren (who I often refer as bahead or queen lolo) She wants to redecorate her adorable little apartment in Mission Hills (which I lovingly refer to as the dungeon) and I get to help! Yippee! I hope to post pictures of the transformation next week. Stay tuned!
I also hope the weekend will be filled with hearty laughter, good food, sleeping in and treasure hunts to Target and Homegoods. Perfect way to kick off the summer and I can’t wait to see this views like this multiple times during the weekend.
Stay safe this weekend, and don’t forget what it’s really about.
Last week, when I went to the Dodger game, I drove over to the stadium with my friend Claire. We both decided to start our blogs at the beginning of the year but Claire jumped in with gusto while I, kinda took my time getting mine ready. And I still haven’t told too many people about mine yet (hello faithful readers who have found me so far!)
Spinning Threads (Claire’s blog) is cute! She’s has the whole mommy fashionista thing going on with a touch of humor and great writing thrown in as well. (She’s a former Disney writing fellow and has written a couple of screenplays) On the way to the stadium we talked about how to grow our readership (ummm, I need to actually tell people that this place exists) and how to best interact with other bloggers in the blog-o-sphere
Here’s a few of my favorite outfits that Claire has worn. Definitely stop by Spinning Threads whenever you need some fashion inspiration or just to hear stories about what her wacky girls Princess Sparkles & Polka Dots are up to.
You know how in the last post I said i love when things match? Well, currently all of my recipes are far from the matchy-matchy state. Most are newspaper clippings or print outs from yummy things found on the internet. I was just wishing the other day I could get them all into a super cute recipe box and have everything look clean & orderly. But there was no way I was going to hand write all those recipes onto index cards. For one, I’m too busy and B my carpel tunnel plagued wrist would start to scream at me after the fifth one.
Well Skip to My Lou to my rescue, these printable recipe cards are just the ticket to help me get my recipes organized and they’ll be super cute too! yay!!
